The Beginning

REECH Earth began with the vision of developing an eco-friendly yoga mat with incredible grip. We have worked so hard to create and bring to you our sustainable yoga mats, made of recycled material, completely biodegradable, and guaranteed non-slip. Creating mats made of Earth-loving materials wasn’t enough though, so we paired with three charity partners doing incredible work around the world, donating 20% of our profits to their efforts. Our goal is to bring a conscious mat to the yoga community--something that we felt had been missing until now. 

 This past year has been a whirlwind of excitement as our hard work has kicked off and REECH Earth has grown. We are still always posing the question to ourselves: “How can we deepen our mission? How can we further engage with our purpose of consciously giving back?” Creating a blog seemed like a good place to start. We want to create more of a sense of community through our blog. A place where you can come to gather insight, deepen your yoga practice, and find information about important issues. Through this blog, we hope to create an open forum to discuss ideas and raise awareness in a safe space. Taking our reach (sorry-not-sorry for the pun) beyond our yoga mats seemed critical to live out the truth of our mission, which is to extend the impact of your yoga practice beyond you and into the rest of the world.

So what can you expect from this blog?

Expect 1-2 postings each month covering a range of topics from health and wellness to social change and activism. We hope to provide you with information that can help you improve your personal life and health, as well as bring positive change to the world around you. Our aim is to support and empower you to become the best version of yourself possible. It is from this place of wellness, strength, and higher consciousness that we can change the world.
